This is my eventful evening after picking up my Little One;
The little one running up the hill to give me a hug because she just wanted to, which is not normal for me! She normally just walks up and says 'Mommy, I wanna go home! Let's go!' I just think the little one is just excited to be going to a park. It was a plan that was made over the weekend. One of the moms from our little group we have that gets together every day after school while the kids run around on the playground after school, had her son transfer to a different school; so we don't get to see her or her sons after school anymore. =( It's an adjustment we all have to get used to, so we just make plans to get together maybe once every other week, or once a month. She played with her friends, she was happy she got to see one of her friends she hasn't seen ALL summer long! Her and her friend went in a BIG tree and started climbing on it, she took one step on it and pretty much was like, forget it, MOMMY I GOT SAP ON MY HANDS, I need to go wash it off!!!! I started laughing, just go play. She did for a moment and she just couldn't stand it so she went wash it off. After looking at the time, we didn't realize we were already been at the park for almost 2 hours!
We went home, of course, when we got home, little one was not done playing, so we took her to the school and she played with daddy, they practice kicking the soccer ball. I sat there for a little bit and let them do their own thing, love those moments. Just watch daddy play with his little girl, they were laughing and running and of course kicking the balls. After the little one was done kicking, she wanted to go play on the new toys that one of this school has. Miss. Little One had to go change her shoes, thank God we brought the extra pairs, because she was wearing her soccer shoes, which she is not used to wearing just yet. I took her back to the playground, she took off running, I couldn't catch up. One excited child there, wanting to check out new things! There were two other kids already playing on the new toys. One of them, had some NERVE to take a highlighter's ink and started graffiti all over the new toys! The toy wasn't even up for a month yet! I was sooooo LIVID! Once the kid saw me she threw down the ink acted liked she wasn't doing anything. I yelled 'C'mon, seriously?! On a BRAND NEW TOY?!' She just stared at me and was like what did I do? At that time I just took my little one and left. Came back with my sweetie and we had a nice little chat with the kid and asked her not to do that again, not only at this park but all the other park. We also told her she could get into a lot of trouble if she got caught. We could tell I scared her, when we came back we saw highlighter ink all over her shirt. Hopefully after having a nice little chat with the kid, the kid will never do it again!
